Remember, we don't sell packages, we offer choices ! You can choose how you get to Halkidiki, so read on and see what your oprions are and how we can help you enjoy your trip.
By far the most popular way of getting to Halkidiki from Western Europe is by air. The Halkidiki area is serviced by Makedonia Airport (code SKG) on the outskirts of Thessaloniki (the second largest city in Greece). With a flight time of a little over 3 hours from the UK, it's quicker to fly to Halkidiki from Manchester than to take the train to London ! Once you arrive, the main tourist resorts are between 45 and 90 minutes from the airport by car.
During the summer months, there is a good choice of both chartered and scheduled flights from all the main UK airports, and most major European locations. Flying from the south of the UK should create no problems in getting a direct scheduled flight to Thessaloniki, although from the north of the country you may find you have to make a change in Europe if you are looking at the scheduled airlines.
In the winter months (mid-October to April), you will almost certainly have to book a scheduled flight. Finding the best deal can be a daunting task, but we will point you in the right direction for some of the best flight deals using our links page.
